OMC's Turmi Children Home

OMC's Turmi Project Site is centrally located in the Hamer District and is the location for OMC's first Children Home. The compound can house up to 50 children to participate in OMC's activities. 

Here are some of the Children Home’s features:

- 3,000 liter public water storage tank

- 3 x 300 liter water storage barrels 

- Shower facilities

- Toilet facilities

- Hand-wash stations

- Fenced compound

- 8 dormitory rooms

- Director's residence

- Warden‘s residence

- Dining/meeting place with large whiteboard (teaching and movies)

- 2 kitchen (one traditional)

- Storage space

- Spacious, partly shaded outdoor area for fun & games (volleyball, Kubb, indiaca, etc.)

- Close proximity to local market and Primary School
